This song is my interpretation of the night as a living breathing entity.

Ever wonder why most parties take place at night? People go to the night clubs and most dates take place in the nighttime.
What about the fact that most kids are so afraid of the dark? These Children sense that there is something in the dark trying to get them. They believe that there are "monsters" hiding in the darkness. Another thing that we like about the darkness is that it makes us inconspicuous. It can swallow us whole or it can protect us. It is a possessive creature causing one to become one with it. Is the darkness itself ominous? Or does it feed off the aura of the one who is in it? Think again about the children. The ones who are afraid of the dark and those who are not. Now, take a look at yourself.

"Who lies in those shadows?"

Darkness; Such a beautiful yet ominous creature. The ambiguity!

Go ahead. Break and take a piece of the darkness. Taste it. See how you like it.
