This is the first real song I've composed in about 12 years. It (or an idea based off this experimental song) was originally going to the introduction to an RPG Maker game I'm working on, but it just didn't work.

A rewritten version is available - produced through the MusicShake software - entitled "Confido Spiritus Redux" - which sounds vastly different but better for multiple reasons and is closer to the original song I was trying to create.
