With the exception of classical music (inclusive of the baroque, classical, romantic, and impressionistic periods), which I have always enjoyed and listened to, music artists have varied as I have grown. Below is a brief overview with some examples cited.
An eclectic individual that listens to everything and everyone as if it were the first time I heard a sound, maintains an open mind in order to make sure that I find out if anything has changed...and it usually has! I am open to most every form of music and the collective symphony of sound that we have ever known in this life. And like life itself, few sounds or combinations thereof, remain in a static frame of reference; rather, they dynamically evolve through space-time.
The only question that I cannot answer yet is whether it is us (the human race) that is the ones that serve as the motivating force behind the evolution of sound/music, or is it that is it in fact sound/music that is responsible for our evolution? Arguments can be presented for both sides, but alas, the promulgation of which here within this profile would require too much space and would most likely the discussion would quickly morph into somewhat deep metaphysical and existential concepts!
But enough chatter, let's get back to the Sounds of the Now!
