This story tune reaches out to the enchanted princess in all of us, girls that is, through the melodious music box. Picture a young princess walking alone in the woods. She twists her ankle on a fallen branch and cannot walk. Just before dark a young milk maid runs to the forest upon hearing the sad news that her mother is deathly ill. The milk maid discovers the royal heir and helps her return to the castle. She is rewarded with this beautiful music box which in turns gives her sick mother great comfort during her illness.
