It's been one year since I posted my first song, " A Future Unknown " (hence the familiar intro)

So here's a song to mark the occasion...Woo-Hoo!!

To everyone who's listened to my music over the last year and left comments, ratings, etc, Thank You very much.

Special thanx to metalman (aka oldjam) for leaving comments since the very beginning. Also to latchkey, Verandure, and Kenta for inspiring the use of the melody violin (as u can tell, I like it alot! lol)

**History of the Song: As stated above, I made this in celebration of my 1 year of Shaking, from Feb '08 to '09. The melody violin had just been created for the program a few months prior I think, so I wanted to use it, and tried to use it to its fullest without sounding too repetitive. It actually taught me a big lesson in how varied a song can be on the MS program just by playing with the tones, and even layer them on top of each other. If I remember correctly, I think I used almost all the available variations for that violin. The tone variation in the 'urgent string' in the middle of the song that sounds almost like a train chugging along turned out pretty good as well. It was also nice to come back to some of the instruments I used in 'A Future Unknown' like said 'urgent string' (and I even purposefully placed them at the end of 'Origins' too, though it was a faster tempo). Overall, it's loud and grand-scale, a good representation of my style at times, I guess. I heard the word 'esoteric' from somewhere, looked up the definition, and decided it would be a good song title for a future song prior to making this one, so I ended up using it for this song. And I felt like the meaning applied to me as a Shaker at that moment in time. I think "esoteric" refers to a confidential, private 'inner circle' of people. And when I first entered MS, I felt like an outsider, just another "new guy" very few noticed. The more well known Shakers like Kenta, ShadowCentury, weavis, Moon, mamyplus5 (scootch), Ford, jeanpitre, Laitar, jkrjjrs, Shin, warpath, etc. were all sort of familiar with each other already, so it took some time to get to know them and for them to notice me. But after leaving more comments, a few more exchanges and posting decent songs that matched their abilities, I felt like I finally became part of that 'inner circle' of known Shakers, that I was in some way "accepted," and that's where this song derives from, a year after I first started. I didnt get a chance to do a 2yr anniversary song cuz I wasn't around MS as the time, but maybe a 3yr anniversary song could show up soon...even I dont know for sure sometimes.**
