I picked the category "Movie" because one day I would like to do a documentary on the plight and courage of the OROMO, the people of Oromia, Ethiopia. I took part in a peaceful protest march demonstration with refugees of this ethnic group in downtown Syracuse, New York, on 11th March, 2016, and the media scarcely stirred: there were one or two reporters, and several well-intentioned citizens, and there was me. I spoke at great length with young women, middle-aged men, and more, and I learned of the plight and peril, and in many cases brutal deaths, of the Oromo people. More I will do; I promised and I intend upon keeping my word. ~ Quilla.
