I was on parade earlier this week, and I love the music. So I thought 'Hey why not?'. I wish MS had bagpipes... Also really hard to classify this on with genre and stuff...

About the picture: It was the Freedom of the City of Barrie Parade celebrating the bicentennial of the war of 1812, it took place on June 2, 2012. Somewhere among the 1000 troops I was there with my whites on and my rifle in my hand. It rained and shined that day and we were all happy to participate, and happy when it was over. Practices were hot and most of us burned but over all it was a good time. With that many people there was always a chance for a laugh and a smile and a joke about the terrible box lunches...
