Lani means heaven or the sky, pueo means owl. Owls represent wisdom and throughout history were feared and believed to be an evil omen. Yet, behind those eyes, a story is longing to be told. The sky is their home. The heavens are their limits. The stories an owl can tell must be an ancient and forever longing tale, which is what I envisioned making this piece. A tale that has no ending, and continues on for eternity.
