You say to trust, you tell me do not fear.
So blindly I follow, only to sink with a short thought of doubt.
You say your the giver, and I should be the receiver.
So I trust in You, only to fail.

I try and get back up, yet I sink down again.
I try to feel your presence, I try to reach for your hand...

You know I cannot do this walk alone. I ask of you my dear friend, help me feel alive again.
Help me to never doubt. Help me run into the depths of your heart.

So many promises you made, so much waiting I have to gain. Help me to walk in your glory. Help me to soar like the eagles. For I know now never to give up. Even though I always mess up, help me to remind myself why they call you Father.

Help me to remind myself why they call you unfailing love. I trust in you o Lord. My father, my friend. I will never stop running, I will never stop seeking. For you alone are always good. You alone knew that I could.
